
In our breathwork sessions, we step away from the busy, analytical mind and connect with the body’s natural energetic system. Through three-part circular breathing patterns set to music, we tap into our subconscious and intentionally activate the sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight response) to release blocked or stored emotions, as well as our parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest functions), to signal the body to shift from a state of stress to relaxation, promoting calmness, healing, and restoration.

Hi, I’m Nini.
Choosing the right breathwork practitioner is a deeply personal journey. Here’s a little about me—I can’t wait to get to know you too!
I grew up in the lush, rainy city of Seattle and now call sunny Marina del Rey home. Here, I share a slice of California paradise with my partner, Nick, and our 85-pound English bulldog, Wally, who firmly believes he’s a lap dog. Like many, my journey has been one of seeking meaning, balance, and healing in a world that rarely slows down.
Outside of breathwork, I’m endlessly inspired by the world around me. Whether it’s the beach or the mountain, nature grounds me in its own unique way. I’ve chased the northern lights in Norway, soaked in Costa Rica’s warmth, reconnected with my roots in Ha Long Bay, and still—I’m continually in awe of the magic this world offers.
At home, I find peace in watching sunsets by the marina. But most of all, I’m fueled by connection—sharing meals, laughing with friends, and having those soul-deep conversations that remind us what it means to truly be present, to see and be seen.
For years, I thrived in the high-paced world of business and marketing. Founding my own agency, collaborating with global brands, and working with companies like Meta brought creativity and ambition into my life… but I also experienced the burden of its chaos, a duality that eventually led me to confront the depth of my own burnout. I was left facing a question I’d long avoided: Who am I?
In my search for answers, I immersed myself in mindfulness practices like movement, meditation, nature, cold exposure, and sound healing. Along the way, I found breathwork and its evidence-based benefits quickly appealed to my logical mind. Little did I know, it soon became so much more—it didn’t just help me heal; it transformed how I saw myself and the world. Breathwork taught me that balance, healing, and transformation aren’t external pursuits. They’re already within us, waiting to be unlocked.
Now, through Soul Surge Breathwork, I have the privilege of helping others tap into their innate power. My approach blends trauma-informed techniques, science, and spirituality to create an inclusive space where breathwork becomes a bridge to self-discovery. Even if a little woo-woo isn’t your thing (yet!), I promise to meet you where you are, with techniques that are as practical as they are transformational.
Whether I’m guiding a session or exploring a new corner of the world, I’m reminded that life is about giving and receiving. Experience the transformative power of sound as it guides you into deep relaxation and healing. Using a combination of instruments like crystal singing bowls, chimes, and tuning forks, sound healing creates vibrational frequencies that help release tension and balance energy.
